so what if there were a fantasy TV show in which there’s some magical war or something going on and a super important magician guy sends his daughter away for safety and to fulfill some destiny or some bullshit and hires an ex-mercenary to be her bodyguard on her magical quest
and they bicker constantly because the mercenary has no patience and no ability to compromise and the magician’s daughter is spoiled and haughty but in the season one finale the mercenary saves her arse because hey that sorceress girl isn’t all that bad and they bicker some more (but amiably)
and then in the season two finale the sorceress saves the mercenary and the mercenary is shocked and the sorceress says that she’s not one to leave her friends behind you know because they’re friends now
and then in the season three finale they have another close call and they have a girl-hug when they reunite but then the sorceress kisses the mercenary and the mercenary is shocked but then she kisses back and even the shippers are shocked because wow we’re not actually queerbaiting in this show this is an actual romance???
and then after that it’s all badass lesbian couples fighting magical evil and such and also working on their relationship like real people
